Floss Silk Tree 

DESCRIPTION

A large deciduous yet tropical tree that puts on an amazing flowering performance in late winter or early Spring here in Florida.  This rather large drought-tolerant specimen tree does well in large open spaces away from buildings and sidewalks.  Established trees need very little water, and they tolerate temperatures as low as about 27 degrees Fahrenheit. Young trees grow quickly up to 3 feet per year.
