DESCRIPTION

A great specimen tree or hedge.   'Tensaw' has a rounded habit with wide lighter green leaves (Great contrast with darker foliage) and fits into narrow spaces.  'Tensaw' can make a very dense screen but shorter than the traditional Dahoon Holly.  Female plants can be covered in bright red berries during the winter but will require a male pollinator.  The berries serve as an excellent food source for wildlife and great for Christmas décor.
