Archontophoenix cunninghamiana, commonly known as the King Palm or Bangalow Palm, is a fast-growing, elegant palm native to the rainforests of eastern Australia. It features a smooth, gray trunk topped with a crownshaft and a canopy of feathery, pinnate fronds. The King Palm is prized for its stately appearance and is widely used in tropical and subtropical landscapes. It prefers consistently moist soil and performs best in filtered sun to full sun in mild climates. It can be grown in groups for a lush, tropical effect or as a striking specimen.
