Jelly palms have stunning green/gray recurved pinnate fronds and are widely grown in warmer parts of the US. They are considered hardy down to about 10°F or USDA zone 8A. While they survive in South Florida, they tend to grow better in cooler climates.  Jelly or Pindo palms are the hardiest palms with pinnate fronds, making them stand out in a zone 8 or 9A landscape.
