Description
Calliandra tergemina is a fast-growing tropical shrub or small tree known for its brilliant red powderpuff-like flowers that bloom most of the year in warm climates. Native to tropical regions of Central and South America, it is loved for its fine, fern-like foliage and dense growth habit. This plant is a favorite in pollinator gardens, attracting hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. It can be shaped into a hedge, grown as a small specimen tree, or pruned for bonsai or patio containers.
