Description
Chamaedorea cataractarum, commonly known as the Cat Palm or Cascade Palm, is a clumping, non-trunking palm native to southern Mexico and Central America. It is prized for its lush, feathery fronds and dense, fountain-like growth habit. This palm stays relatively compact, making it an excellent choice for indoor containers or tropical understory plantings. Unlike many palms, it tolerates lower light and humidity levels, and its pet-safe nature makes it a favorite for homes with cats or dogs.
