Description

Copernicia alba, also known as the Caranday Palm or Wax Palm, is a striking palm native to South America. It features a slender, upright trunk and dense, fan-shaped leaves that range from green to bluish-green. This palm is notable for its tolerance to seasonal flooding and high temperatures. In its native habitat, it forms dense stands in savannas and wetlands, contributing to the unique ecosystem with its structural and ecological presence.
