Description:
Enterolobium cyclocarpum, commonly known as Ear Tree or Guanacaste, is a large, spreading, deciduous tree native to Central America and parts of tropical Mexico. Known for its broad canopy and ear-shaped seed pods, this fast-growing species is used for shade, reforestation, and ornamental planting in warm climates. It features bipinnate, feathery foliage and plays an ecological role in nitrogen fixation and supporting biodiversity.
