Sabal minor, or Dwarf Palmetto, is a hardy, trunkless fan palm native to the southeastern United States. It is prized for its lush green fan-shaped leaves, exceptional cold hardiness, and ability to thrive in a wide range of conditions, from moist woodlands to sunny landscapes.
Its compact size makes it an excellent choice for foundation plantings, native gardens, shaded beds, and container gardens. Dwarf Palmetto is also highly resistant to pests and diseases and provides year-round tropical texture with minimal maintenance.
