One of the hardiest of palms with a symmetrical crown of palmate leaves.  The slender truck is covered with a distinctive brown fiber that makes it easy to recognize.  Although extremely hardy, the tropical feel is there. This palm also does well indoors with bright light.  
 
This palm ships in a large 3-gallon, 10-inch container and is approximately 18 inches tall above the soil line.
